Tercentenary Concert

Our school theatre is now called, Nano Nagle Theatre. A beautiful choral evening celebrated the rededication, with guest choirs, St.Stephens Episcopal Madrigal Singers from Texas and Scoil Maria Assumpta. iwish 2018

Women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths.  Well done to 4th years on presenting their Award winning science app “rattle my bones” and creative art design for junk Kouture at this year’s iWish conference in Cork City Hall. Thank you to Ms Buckley-Kelliher, Ms O’Sullivan & the many teachers that helped out.


December’s Cork City and County Youth Team Award Reception

Our All-Ireland Futsal champions at a reception yesterday in the Metropole Hotel where they received the award for December’s Cork City and County Youth team. It was a lovely afternoon for the girls, truly deserved and we wish them the best of luck in the overall awards on February 9th. Thank you John Buckley Sports and the Metropole Hotel who sponsor the awards.

Fundraiser!!

Leaving Cert Link Modules students held a Purple Day fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland recently. They raised money for the charity by having a balloon blowing challenge and baking chocolate chip cookies.

Munster Futsal Championship!

CONGRATULATIONS to our 1st year students who were honoured at an assembly today after winning the Munster Futsal Championships! The very best in the All-Ireland Finals next Tuesday

College Awareness Week!!!

Well done to our College Awareness Week competition winners Ciara McGann (6th year) and Katelyn O Mahony (3rd year) for coming up with creative jobs of the future relative to their current school subjects.


Student Council.

Training for the new Student Council Training took place on Wed. 27th September with Pat Murphy. The training proved very valuable and gave the new council food for thought.

What an amazing Opening Show! Standing ovation – fabulous feedback from our audience – ‘That was just magic’ – ‘This should be performed at the Opera House!’ – ‘The girls are a credit to you.’ – And they are indeed…. thank you everyone!
